Braves Radio Booth Not Happy with Bryce Harper’s Throat Slash

The Braves radio guys were not happy with Bryce Harper’s throat slash celly after his second home run:

“Again gave the throat-slashing sign, which given today’s climate around the world, I’m not sure that’s quite what anybody wants to see”

Wait ’til these two see the Phils do the big balls celly after every hit.

Sour grapes from these guys huh? But also hypocrites. No matter what your thoughts are on The Chop, you have to see the irony when Braves fans were just doing it throughout the stadium on Christopher Columbus/Indigenous People’s/Whatever the hell we call it now Day. Like you gotta be kidding me. What could this dude even be reaching at?

I’m pretty sure the dude calling out the throat slash is Joe Simpson. The guy is a fossil. He’s the old man who yells at a cloud meme. A guy who is so mad at the world because it passed him by. He bitched about Chase Utley wearing no socks during batting practice a couple years ago:

He got mad at the organist for doing his job when the Braves were getting smoked. Something the organist does whether the Braves are up or down 15 runs:

He questioned the legitimacy of Juan Soto’s age at 19 and got chewed out by the Nationals GM. The guy finds himself in the middle of a controversy every year. It’s probably time to hang it up.
