Bryce Harper has been very blunt lately.

He clearly wants the Phillies to sign J.T. Realmuto to a long term deal.

And now, on a recent Twitch stream, he talked about Spencer Howard, believing that the Phils should have him in the starting rotation this season:

“If Spencer Howard isn’t starting in our rotation by game six in New York against the New York Yankees, there’s a problem. That’s all I’m saying.”

Agree? Disagree?

Bob tells me that Howard looked good for two innings last night before he tired a bit. Fans are clamoring for something new, something fresh on the mound. He’s the best pitching prospect the Phils have had in years and this season comes with some wonky asterisks anyway.

Sign up me for Spencer Howard vs. the New York Yankees in game six of the shortened 2020 season.
