More:
Odubel Herrera case is being dismissed after his girlfriend denied to press charges. Not enough independent evidence of assault for prosecutor to proceed independent of her.

Herrera was arrested on Memorial Day and charged with domestic violence. According to the police report, his girlfriend had “visible signs of injury to her arms and neck,” which resulted from a dispute between the pair. Herrera has been on administrative leave via the MLB league office and has not appeared for the Phillies since 5/26.
Gonna be really interesting to see where the league and the Phillies go from here, since he hasn’t been found officially innocent or officially guilty.
