There wasn’t much for Mets fans who invaded Citizens Bank Park to cheer about today. They watched their team lose — again — after collecting just two hits through eight innings.
Yeah, the Mets hit a few ultimately meaningless homers late to create a flicker of hope for those who made the trip, but Phillies closer Ian Kennedy eventually poured cold water on the improbable comeback attempt.

Anyway, it looks like things got pretty rough out in the second deck in left field. Guess that’s going to happen when your team loses six games in the standings in *checks notes* seven days.
