It’s a Cleveland Indians thing, so people here don’t necessarily give a shit, but the caller was talking about a guy named Franmil Reyes, who is their DH. He hit .275 last year with a .795 OPS but went 0-3 in the season opener, with a walk. The caller thinks the poor plate approach has been “going on for two years” and that’s when Drennan loses his shit.
But anyway, this is fantastic. I feel like the Fanatic and WIP hosts should treat their callers this way. Not all of them are “stupid idiots,” but there are quite a few, like ‘Ingy,’ Jim from Havertown, and Angry Al.
