Even Bryce Harper Knows When Pandering Has Gone Too Far

Bryce Harper is the greatest panderer this city has ever known and even he knows when it’s going too far. Sure, he went full cowboy walking down the red carpet before the All-Star Game in Texas. But the cowboy get up was one thing. Faking a southern accent would be another. Bryce wasn’t getting meme’d – or maymay’d:
“I don’t want to be like Bryan Kelly from LSU trying to do that.”

He’s obviously referencing Bryan Kelly’s LSU introduction, where somehow the guy from Boston who never coached south of Cincinnati developed a southern accent in less than a week.
