Former Villanova Baseball Player Matt Szczur Took Some Cubs Teammates to Geno’s Last Night
By Jim Adair
Published:

Matt Szczur was born in Cape May, played college baseball and football at Villanova (Kyle can’t write this post because his dick is in the way), and is now a part-time outfielder for the Chicago Cubs. Last night, after the Cubs rode into town in track suits, Szczur took some of his Cubbie buddies to Geno’s (of course the Nova kid goes to Geno’s) for some late night cheesesteaks. [Editor’s note: Fuck you and your hipster anti-Pat’s and Geno’s shtick. Pat’s is better, but still.. they’re both quite good. Don’t hate just because they’re popular.] David Ross seemed the most excited:
Thanks @superSZCZ4 for giving me a taste of Philly!!! #withwiz pic.twitter.com/tHGxhuhbAR

The Phils are definitely outmatched against the Cubs over the next three days, so here’s to hoping Geno’s sets them up with a Shake Shack situation.
When he's not writing about sports here or ranting about them on Twitter, Jim is probably watching X-Files on Netflix or drinking a beer somewhere. Jim has nothing against hockey, it's just not his style. He once met Duce Staley at a Sixers game.
