It’s Official: Charlie Manuel Signs Two Year Extension

Not that we didn't see this coming, but today the Phillies made it official, signing Manuel to a two-year extension through the 2013 season: [Phillies.com]
"In some ways, I'm kind of glad to have it over with," he said. "I want to stay focused on what we're doing. I've never thought about doing anything else."
Manuel, whose contract likely is in the $7 million-$8 million range, said this could be his final deal as a manager.
