As we take a glance at the Mets’ schedule, they’ve lost nine of their last 11 games. Their slate is absolutely brutal. After being swept by the Phillies, they won three straight against the Nationals, and then had to play their next 13 against Los Angeles and San Francisco. One home series and one away series vs. each team. They were swept by the Dodgers, stole one from the Giants, and then proceeded to lose four of their next five. They are 61-64 and third place in the NL East, 6.5 games behind the Braves.
