Jonathan India was on Ben Verlander’s podcast and said Citizens Bank Park was his least favorite stadium because of us:
What stadium is Jonathan India’s least favorite?
Citizens Bank Park
Why?
The fans

Am I crazy or do I hear some endearment in India’s voice? Like he hates us, but deep down he kind of likes how hard we are on him. Hating a Phillies fan is like hating the Patriots during that dynasty run. You can hate them all you want, but you have to respect them. The most impressive thing is he’s talking about how it’s cold when he plays here. We’ve never faced the Reds in the playoffs so he must be talking about a March or April game. Imagine if he came here in October. He might refuse to leave the clubhouse.
It’s time for people to understand that we’re the gold standard for fans. The ones other fanbases wish they could emulate. Whenever our teams are good, the sports world is lasered in on Philadelphia. We put food on the table for so many people in the media. All Jonathan India had to say was he doesn’t like playing here and now we’re writing about the odd Verlander’s podcast.
Sure, you have moments like this sometimes, but remember he had the wrong guy:
No one likes us, we don’t care.
And it works too. Look at India’s stats at the Bank: .206/.290/.353, 7 Hits, 1 HR, and 11 K’s in 34 at bats. We own a beautiful four-bedroom house with a pool in the backyard and an acre and a half of land in this guy’s head. You can’t argue against results. See ya in a couple weeks!
