Leo Mazzone Tweets Phillies, Applies for Pitching Coach Opening

Published:
Former Braves pitching coach Leo Mazzone, who oversaw the likes of Greg Maddux, Tom Glavine, John Smoltz and Steve Avery and his woman figure, has thrown his name into the ring to be the next Phillies pitching coach, via Tweet:
I’m sure the Phillies Twitter guy will manage to screw this up somehow:
Leo, can you DM us?
I can’t, you’re not following me.
How do we do that? Can’t you just put “DM @Phillies” in your Tweet and that will do it?
No that’s not how… ah, never mind. I’m enjoying retirement.
No clue if the Phils would actually be interested. They had interest in current Braves pitching coach, former Phillie and loon Roger McDowell, but he decided to stay with the Braves.
