Phillies have DFA’d Neftali Feliz. Matt Moore will pitch tonight. Zach Eflin pushed back to Saturday. He was ill.

Just so we’re keeping track here, Feliz hadn’t pitched in the majors since 2017. He was called up from Triple-A, inserted immediately for two high-leverage situations, and the results did not go according to plan. So then he gets DFA’d after less than a week, and now Joe Girardi is taking even more shit than he already was.
By the way, if you’re wondering why I used a 2018 spring training photo for the header image, it’s because I had nothing else. Feliz had such a short stint up here that the photo service we use did not have a single image of him wearing a Phillies uniform. That should tell you all you need to know.
