Last night, Nick Castellanos’ mom touched down in Philadelphia and brought a housewarming gift. Sage and a crystal to cleanse the new house of any bad spirits of athletes past:

Nick’s wife Jess confirmed on her Instagram story that they weren’t taking any chances with the bad juju:

Am I wrong for thinking this might hurt Nick’s production? The guy thrives in chaos. It might actually be better if he did have ghosts. Every time the bell rings an angel gets it wings. Well every time something bad in the world happens a Castellanos hits .340.

Lets see how it goes for the rest of April, but if Nick gets off to a slow start I’m going to need them to put this place back on the market and go buy a haunted house. Or build a shrine to Jobu if bats become afraid of a curveball. Even though I consider myself a man of faith, everyone knows Jesus Christ can’t hit a curveball:

P.S. Is this the most believable thing ever or what? Ben Simmons dogs were surrounded by Louis Vuitton wallpaper? And I’m juggling whether I should drive or walk to the store because gas is over $4. What a life:
