Nick Castellanos Signing with the Padres (That’s What’s in)
Nick Castellanos is signing with the Padres and expected to be some sort of combination first baseman, DH, and outfield:
No right field for Casty in San Diego because they’ve got Fernando Tatis Jr. out there. Good landing spot, though. He goes from a 96-win team to a 90-win team, the weather is great, west coast baseball, etc., but man is that division rough. You’ve got the Dodgers, Giants, and Arizona D bags. Murderer’s row and then the useless Rockies bringing up the rear.
The Padres come to Philly on June 2nd, 3rd, and 4th, so that will be Nick’s reunion here and I bet he gets a nice reception while Presidentes are opened in the dugout.
