Not How You Want To Start Your Weekend: Andrew Painter Is Getting Tests on His Elbow Already

I’m not trying to ruin your happy hour. I’m just reporting the news:

Thomson said that Andrew Painter came in with a little tender elbow yesterday. They sent him out for some tests and don’t have results yet. Phillies will have more info for us tomorrow.

Lets be optimistic until we find out more tomorrow so I’m going to say this is just precautionary. The dude threw gas in his first start:

He typically keeps his fastball between 95-97 on average so a little more adrenaline on the mound upped that and now the elbow is barking a little. He’ll be good. The baseball gods will not rob us of this:
