Whoosh. That was nasty. A filthy slider. Threw the fastball at 99 mph as well. Y’all weren’t kidding when you said this kid has some disgusting stuff. That was really fun to watch, just a lovely debut for the 22 year old.
Not to get ahead of ourselves here, since it’s been only one game, but I feel more confident in Kerkering than Aaron Nola right now. Put him on the postseason roster and we’re gonna go get John Middleton’s trophy back.
