Petition Requests that NBC Sports Philadelphia “Make Jhoan Duran’s Entrance Televised”

As you know, Jhoan Duran’s entrance is electric. But it’s not always shown on television, with NBC Sports Philadelphia using the time for a typical commercial break.
This has annoyed some Phillies fans to the point of creating a petition to “Make Jhoan Duran’s Entrance Televised,” which has 300 signatures as of Thursday morning:

The blurb of explanation is short and simple:
“We, the fans, are asking NBC Sports Philadelphia to never cut to commercial when Phillies closer Jhoan Durán enters the game. His entrance, complete with fire, lights, and the spider visuals, is one of the most electric moments in baseball. It deserves to be shown in full every time, so fans at home can experience the same goosebumps as those in the ballpark.”
Hear hear! I signed the petition, because we can watch commercials when we die. You only live once, and opportunities to see Jhoan Duran enter the game will be fleeting. We have the rest of our lives to watch commercials, like this upcoming Eagles season, when there will be a huge play or a turnover and Fox will fucking cut to commercial before showing a replay. Absolutely ridiculous. They’re the worst.
But yeah, right now, at this very moment, we want the Durantula.
This means the ball is now in NBC Sports Philadelphia’s court. They can’t ignore a petition, because the customer is always right. If they don’t comply, we might have to launch a “No Kings” protest across the greater Philadelphia region. Sign the petition. Let your voices be heard!
Power to the people!
