The Phils are going back to the NLDS with an 11-1 blasting of the Fish. They also carved out a bit of history:

Bitches love Sosa! They also love dinger after dinger after dinger at Citizens Bank Park. Kyle Schwarber hit his 55th and 56th of the year, Edmundo completed his hat trick, and then Alec Bohm, Otto Kemp, and Bryson Stott had the other three. Two-thirds of the Phillies hits on Wednesday night were home runs.

Jesus Luzardo, by the way, was dealing. Seven innings strong, one run on three hits and 10 strikeouts. Again he conceded the first run and again he settled in for a nice, long outing, handing it over to Tim Mayza and Max Lazar for an easy clean up job. Luzardo has really steadied himself and you feel pretty good about him as a third starter in the playoffs.

October 4th at Citizens Bank Park. NLDS. Ring the Bell / Campanazzo. The Phils are 93-65 with four games left and they don’t have to hit the road again until Game 3 of the postseason.
