The Philadelphia Phillies are officially going back to the postseason:

With the Giants loss to the Dodgers, the Phillies have locked in their fourth straight playoff berth.

The two main goals right now are the NL East title and a first round bye. The magic number to clinch the division for the second year in a row is one. They attempted to bring it down to 0 on Sunday, but fell in a rough 10-3 loss to the Royals. A Mets loss would’ve done it as well, but New York went on to beat the Rangers in extra innings.

The Phillies fly out to Los Angeles to kick off a six-game west coast trip, their last of the year. They have the Dodgers for three games starting Monday, which is a big series in terms of the first round bye. They’ll then go to Arizona for three games against the Diamondbacks at Chase Field.
