A 9 to 6 win over the Cubs, combined with a Brewers loss to the Yinzers, clinched a bye for the Phillies:

Milwaukee lost 2-1 in Pittsburgh. Sad! Sources say the attendance at PNC Park was five people. ESPN says 15,965, but that probably includes ghosts and apparitions. The Brewers only scored one run off Luis Ortiz and mustered five hits on the evening. They always had an uphill climb against the Phils and Dodgers but now they’re locked into the three seed and will play either the Diamondbacks, Mets, or Braves. If the Phillies push ahead of the Dodgers and snag the one seed, they’re on the 4/5 side of the bracket, and if they finish second, they’d get the Brewers/whomever winner. It’s not a bad setup either way. I honestly think you feel okay playing the Padres, Brewers, or Braves and want to avoid the Diamondbacks and Mets, but that’s just like, my opinion man. You agree or disagree?
