The end of the Mickey Moniak “era,” if you wanna call it that.

This isn’t the 2016 All Star Noah Syndergaard. This is the post-injury Thor, but he’s still a serviceable starting pitcher and fits what the Phillies need. They added starting pitching, a bullpen arm, and a center fielder at the deadline, and while there wasn’t a “blockbuster,” per se, this team is better than it was a few hours ago.

LFG. Let’s break the playoff drought.
