PHLY Brings in Corey Seidman for Phillies Coverage
Inbox:
Philadelphia, PA — (February 18, 2026) PHLY, Philadelphia’s fast-rising digital sports media company, today announced that veteran Phillies analyst Corey Seidman is joining the company as the new host of the PHLY Phillies Podcast, alongside Jamie Lynch.
Seidman spent 15 years as a Phillies contributor at NBC Sports Philadelphia, where he became a trusted voice for fans through his analysis, reporting, and deep institutional knowledge of the organization. Known for his thoughtful breakdowns, clubhouse insight, and strong connection to the fan base, Seidman has covered some of the most pivotal eras in recent Phillies history.
“Corey’s credibility, experience, and understanding of the Phillies make him an ideal fit for us,” said Todd Berman, PHLY General Manager. “He’s covered this team through rebuilding years, playoff runs, and everything in between. Our audience will benefit immediately from his insight and authenticity.”
“I’m thrilled to join PHLY and continue covering the Phillies for the most passionate fans in baseball,” said Seidman. “Philadelphia is home, and I’m excited to bring honest, informed, and engaging coverage in what could be one of the most interesting seasons in Phillies history.”
In his new role, Seidman will lead the network’s Phillies coverage including hosting the PHLY Phillies Podcast, as well as providing written analysis, insider perspective, interviews, and real-time reaction for one of the city’s most passionate fan bases. He will also contribute exclusive content for PHLY’s Diehard members.
The PHLY Phillies Podcast with Seidman and Lynch will be available across all platforms beginning with the regular season.
PHLY dropped Tyler Zulli and Rich Hofmann at the end of January and now Seidman is in the fold.
In fact, both NBCSP Phillies contributors are now with PHLY. That’s Jim Salisbury, who left in 2023, and Seidman, who left in 2025. That’s a lot of institutional knowledge voluntarily walking out the door, and there’s probably a deeper dive to be written about the ongoing changes at NBC Sports Philadelphia, which may include the Phillies field reporter job in 2026. More on that, soon.
Either way, Seidman and Jamie Lynch (The Bro) seems like a good pairing. Two guys who have been working in Philly sports for some time. PHLY has been making moves recently, shuffling and reshuffling to improve the product. They’ve been relatively aggressive in an otherwise stagnant media landscape. GM Todd Berman, who is quoted in the press release, spent nearly a decade at NBC Sports Philadelphia between 2010 and 2019 and knows Seidman and Salisbury from their shared time with the company. And the Phils are going to be good again this season, despite all of our bitching and moaning on social media. They’re a 96-win team. They didn’t become shit overnight. Phillies coverage is important for any media outlet interested in clicks.
