Report: Phillies in on Dallas Keuchel

Jon Heyman, who is my favorite baseball writer of all time, is BACK with more information:
Astros understandably like their team but they’re said still in touch with Dallas Keuchel, who received 3 calls the day Harper got done. Phillies are also in and could solidify their favorite status by importing star lefty, tho with prospects coming they’re preferring short term.

Keuchel is represented by Scott Boras, Bryce Harper’s agent. He’s 31 years old right now and three full seasons removed from his 2015 Cy Young win. He won the World Series with the Astros in 2017 while earning his second All-Star selection.
Bob does not think this is the way to go:
Keuchel would be a mess here. Slider evaporated a year ago. Opponents hit .262 against it last season after hitting .171 and .167 the previous two seasons. He also got less out of zone swings and misses last season. Lots of red flags there.

Dallas Keuchel – yes or no?
