It's a flat out party on the DL right now.
As first reported by Ryan Lawrence of the Delco Times, The Big Piece was Phillie'd today. Ryan Howard will join Chase Utley and Shane Victorino on the 15-day DL. He has a moderate left ankle sprain.
John Mayberry Jr. will be recalled in his place.
Does anyone else find it ironic that on the exact same day of Howard's gnome giveaway in Reading – which features him kneeling on a base just like he was Saturday- he goes on the DL?
