Not good.

According to just about every person at Lehigh, Mike Patterson was taken to the hospital after lying on the ground in convulsions.

Based on the Tweets, it appears Patterson was down for about 15-20 minutes. He went down before individual drills were about to begin and was then seen convulsing. An ambulance was called and Patterson was given an IV and strapped to a board before being taken off.

Danny Watkins, in his first day of camp, put his firefighter skills to good use- he helped direct the paramedics when they arrived.

To give you an idea of the magnitude of this, here's a quick screenshot of the Tweets coming from Lehigh. We'll have more soon.

UPDATE: Eagles trainer Rick Burkholder said Patterson had a seizure. He is stabilized and alert in hospital.

Burkholder also said Patterson had no history of seizures. He briefly lost consciousness today. Reid said trainers had linemen gather around Patterson while he was on the ground to provide shade. That's kind of awesome.
