Shout Out to Les Bowen for Drunk Tweeting Game 4

Les Bowen is somewhat retired at this point, or least has one foot out the door. He’s not with the Philadelphia Inquirer any longer, but continues to write about the Eagles for NJ.com.

He’s also fully on the Phillies postseason train at this point, and drunkenly tweeted his way through Game 4 on Saturday night while watching a Spanish-language broadcast live from the Dominican Republic:

I laughed hard at the Moana tweet. Pretty close, though Moana is a woman. Maui is Duane Johnson’s character. He’s the Demigod of the wind and sea. Sean Manaea does remind me a bit of Maui because he’s got Polynesian roots, but no magical fish hook. Yes, I have a three year old and have seen Moana at least 25 times.

I also want to know which bag is “the goat of bags,” but more importantly, Les seems like the type of guy you want to drink with. Maybe we’ll set something up for the World Series. Go Phils.
