Taijuan Walker update:

Kinda feel bad for the guy at this point. Hopefully it was more of a “I gotta get off social” thing and not specifically in response to douchers getting into his DMs ala Alexander Mattison after last year’s Eagles game. Walker is a decent dude, probably closer to Tobias Harris on the Philadelphia athlete spectrum, which is to say he’s a highly-paid player who isn’t performing well. Four years, $72 million to get blown up every time out. That division lead is dwindling and with the way the bats are right now (total ass), putting Walker on the mound feels like a guaranteed L. It’s like a Doc Rivers “schedule loss.” You see Walker’s name on the FanDuel app and have to fade the Phillies. It’s gross, but it is what it is. They can’t let him go out there again.
