It’s a mix between a slider and a cutter! Nasty pitch. The best pitchers in baseball throw a great slutter.
Credit to Taryn though for rolling with it. All you can do is laugh it off and keep it moving. We’ve all been there before. I once wrote “weekend shits” on this website and it stayed up for two hours before somebody informed me about the typo.
By the way, my Mount Rushmore of portmanteaus would be “hangry” (hungry + angry), “breathalyzer” (breath+analyzer), “brunch” (breakfast + lunch), and now “slutter” (slider + cutter)
