Who would have predicted a breakout game by Jimmy Rollins last night? How about Larry Bowa.
The former skipper was on 97.5 prior the game and told Jon Marks that he texted Rollins earlier in the day, telling him to step it up.
"I told him he's a red light player, and that red light is on right now, so let's go."
Rollins told Bowa that he got frustrated by all of the injuries this year and was close to being back. Bowa said he expected to see something from J-Roll last night.
How about a three-run double to seal the game?
