Devon Givens is leaving 97.5 the Fanatic, multiple sources confirm to Crossing Broad.
He’s not leaving Philadelphia, however, and will stay in the region with a different media outlet.
Givens was one of the best basketball minds at the Fanatic. He hosted the 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. weeknight shift and was the Sixers pregame and postgame host, broadcasting from the Wells Fargo Center during home games. He’s done a little bit of everything at the Fanatic over the years, also hosting the Eagles pregame program and covering a wide variety of Monday to Friday and weekend shifts. Devon was a 97.5 veteran and certainly not a hot take guy, just a straightforward host who was/is well-respected in the local sports ecosystem.
Expect a new gig announcement in the coming weeks.
