Ron Burke Has a New Gig
Not a bad landing spot at all:
Today I started a new job as weekend morning news anchor and reporter at @WPBF25News in West Palm Beach, Florida. A whole new world has opened up. Cant wait to get to it. #WestPalmBeach #westpalm #hearst #florida pic.twitter.com/OYpB1GdTaZ

There are worse places to work than South Florida. And West Palm is a good market, ranked #38 overall and matching Austin and Vegas in terms in total TV households. If Burke is anchoring weekends, he’ll probably report three days per week, which is how most stations do it.
Burke started in Philly media in 1988. He joined Comcast SportsNet as an original when the station was founded in 1997 and was let go last January.
Kevin has been writing about Philadelphia sports since 2009. He spent seven years in the CBS 3 sports department and started with the Union during the team's 2010 inaugural season. He went to the academic powerhouses of Boyertown High School and West Virginia University. email - k.kinkead@sportradar.com
