Al Horford is Once Again a Boston Celtic

Two Al Horford posts in two days.
That’s crazy! (as the guy from the Jim Sipala Kia commercials would say) –
The Celtics are trading Kemba Walker, the No. 16 overall pick in the 2021 draft and a 2025 second-round draft pick to Oklahoma City for Al Horford, Moses Brown and a 2023 second-round pick, sources tell ESPN.

Why do we care?
Because the Celtics have been a pain in the ass for years, and Sixers fans should keep an eye on what they’re doing in the newly-minted post-Danny Ainge era.
Dumping Kemba Walker for Al Horford gives the Celtics the same two more years of beefy contract, but Horford is set to earn $10 million less than Walker, so there’s a lot more flex there. OKC picks up yet another 1st round pick and Boston gets an interesting young center who is worth more than the 16th pick. The Celtics really lacked on the interior after Horford and Aron Baynes departed, so this gets them out of the Kemba money and beefs them up on the inside.
Alright, that’s it. Now let’s get it back to the Eagles.
