So… he caught the ball right at the basket and could have just dunked it. He’s 6’10”. Instead, he decided to lay it in, but went up with his right hand, threw it off the backboard, and it missed the rim entirely. It didn’t even hit the rectangle. At least he tried the shot, though. Coggin is right about that much. Simmons was under the same basket when he passed the damn ball in Game 7 of the Eastern Conference semifinals, a series the Sixers totally blew against the Hawks. What a travesty. Ben is toast. Joel Embiid is injured. Paul George is injured. The Sixers are 2-12. Serenity now!
