Ben played 24 minutes and went 3-4 for six points. He threw eight assists, grabbed five rebounds, blocked a shot, and committed six turnovers and five personal fouls. He looked like a guy who hadn’t played in eight months, but even then, you see in that clip him doing the same shit he did here. He makes a nice backdoor cut, then blows a layup that he probably could have dunked. Then there’s a pick and roll where he decides to turn and throw the ball back out to the perimeter instead of challenging Clint Capela at the rim. The last sequence in the video is a 1v1 opportunity against Onyeka Okongwu and he throws a cross-court pass instead. Those are the mental challenges he was having during his time in Philadelphia, the decision-making shortcomings that have nothing to do with his physical health.
