Sixers flying up the board, as expected. They’re 7-1 with wins against the Knicks (2x), Cavs, Bucks, Pacers, Hornets, and Bulls.

Pretty crazy to think that they opened at +6000 to win the title. Then the Jaylen Brown and LeBron James acquisitions pushed that number way up and they’re currently sitting at +800, which is third-best in the NBA behind only the Spurs and Thunder. The Knicks have dropped to +1000 to win it all after losing four of their first seven games.

The prediction market percentages look similar to what you see at BetMGM and the best sports betting apps. San Antonio tops the charts with a 23% chance to win it all. OKC is next at 15% and then the Sixers at 13%. To win the Eastern Conference, it’s 23% for the Sixers, then the Knicks, Celtics, and Pistons at 19%, 16%, and 10%. It didn’t take long for people to start believing in this team. They get another crack at the Pistons on Wednesday night. If they get a W in Detroit they may go 81-1 this season.
