Joel Embiid and Dario Saric made their Philadelphia debut last night in front of a…Sixers-sized crowd. According to John Smallwood, Embiid asked PA announcer Matt Cord to announce him as “Joel ‘ The Process ‘ Embiid,” a request that Cord did not oblige.
Embiid again started off a little rusty, tossing up some shots that were totally off the mark. But Dario started the game as smooth as silk, scoring the game’s first four points:
Then, Embiid put some muscle on Marcin Gortat for his first points at home:
He then ate Kelly Oubre Jr.’s lunch:
Good playing against my brother @JoelEmbiid for the first time . Glad you're back !!! Didn't have to eat my floater like that tho 😂 #Shhh

JoJo had a little bit of trouble pushing around Gortat, but dropped another on him in the post:
And Dario might honestly be the best player on this team right now:
Meanwhile, JoJo had water issues:

Embiid finished with 5 points, 3 rebounds and a block on 2/6 shooting in 12 minutes, pretty much the same line as game one. Saric scored 14 points, grabbed 4 boards, and had one steal (and only 2 turnovers this time) in 18 minutes. He missed only two shots and made two threes. The Sixers’ next game is on Saturday against the Cavs.
When he's not writing about sports here or ranting about them on Twitter, Jim is probably watching X-Files on Netflix or drinking a beer somewhere. Jim has nothing against hockey, it's just not his style. He once met Duce Staley at a Sixers game.
