Recently-retired Sixers play-by-play guy Marc Zumoff is teaming up with Conshohocken Brewing for a new beer release with a charity component:

Love it. This is really cool. It says that a portion of proceeds benefit Philadelphia Youth Basketball, which is a great cause and one that Marc has been involved with before. He was selling some merch on his website and helping to raise money for the organization.

Congratulations are in order, because whoever came up with this has done the impossible. They have convinced me to go out and buy an IPA for the first time in a long time. My distaste for the India Pale Ale is well known, but if Conshy and Glen Macnow are involved, and Marc is involved, and a portion of the proceeds go to charity, then I’m all in. I’ll take a four pack of the Zooisms, please.
