Delonte West Seems to be Doing a Lot Better

Here’s a positive update in the Delonte West story.
To recap, the former St. Joe’s star had been struggling in recent months, spotted a few times asking for money on the streets of Dallas. He has bi-polar disorder and had previously refused help from former coaches and teammates and other members of the NBA community.
About a week ago, Mavericks owner Mark Cuban was able to track Delonte down at a Dallas gas station and get him checked in to a rehab facility. He shared this update Friday:
Ladies & Gentlemen, I present to you, Delonte West . A long, long , long way to go, but he has taken the first steps and shared these with all of us as a thank you for the love and support. pic.twitter.com/555twAEVDP

Hell yeah, that’s great to see. Fingers crossed that Delonte keeps this up and gets his life back on track.
Enjoy your weekend.
