DeVonta Smith was on Danny Green’s podcast, Inside The Green Room, and was asked if the Sixers should trade Ben Simmons:

Trade Ben Simmons is becoming the new, “Carson Wentz or Jalen Hurts?” for everyone in Philadelphia media. Put DeVonta Smith on Team Trade Ben Simmons. I can’t blame him after he was courtside Monday against the Grizzlies to watch how special Tyrese Maxey is. He probably wants to get the big man some help after another MVP season. I thought the reaction from Danny after he answered was kind of weird in a way. I know he can’t elaborate as much on the situation because Ben is still his teammate, but the, “Ok…that was good” felt like he was happy they got the clip that will go viral and lets move one. He’s probably tired of talking about it honestly.
Here are some more highlights from the interview:
DeVonta Smith to SiriusXM: "Cheesesteaks and all that I feel like are kind of overrated."

He definitely didn’t go to any of the suggestions from this tweet in April:
Best cheesesteak spot in Philly ?

Jalen Hurts called him after the Bengals won against the Chiefs:
Eagles WR DeVonta Smith to SiriusXM: "When (the Bengals) won to go to the Super Bowl, Jalen (Hurts) called me right after, like, 'Man, that could be us. We're going to get there.' We see what they do, and we know we can get there."

I’d rather that conversation start and end with, “I have to get you the ball at least 10 times a game next year if we’re going to be in the Bengals position.”
Danny Green almost pulled a Lamar Jackson against the Kings on Saturday:
