Well, to be fair, the fans did show him a lot of positivity in Game 5. They tried to help him along at the free throw line and clapped and cheered and encouraged him like it was Markelle Fultz on the return from injury.
At some point, he’s just gotta make the free throws. 4 for 14 ain’t gonna cut it. 32% in the playoffs isn’t gonna do it either.
Ben Simmons’ Philly legacy is on the line tonight. He’s gotta show up and perform or else the noise is going to be deafening (it it wasn’t already).
