Georges Niang was on the John Kincade Show where he was asked what the difference is between the team this year and last year:

Obviously the first part of that quote is what will make headlines, but that was actually a great answer about max contracts and what GMs have to do to replace max guys with role players. Now obviously Ben Simmons is nowhere close to a max guy in terms of performance anymore. He’s not even in the Nets rotation currently. So not only did the Sixers win the trade, but James Harden gave Daryl Morey an extra $7 million to play with this offseason. That almost makes up for Game 7 against the Hawks.

I love Georges Niang. He didn’t even play a minute with Ben Simmons and I think he hates him more than anyone on that team. Every time they play each other they go at it:
