HARDEN/SIMMONS WATCH 2022: Woj Changes his Tone

NBA trade deadline today. Hooray! Maybe the Sixers will finally move Ben Simmons and we can be done with the man forever.
As we sift through all of the crap floating around the internet, we note that Adrian Wojnarowski was one of the guys reporting that there had been no movement on the Philly/Brooklyn front. Others reported that a deal was being discussed.
Well this morning, Woj shifted his tone a bit in noting that Harden wants a trade:
Harden's hopeful Morey secures trade for him today, but Morey and Sean Marks have yet to become engaged in serious dialogue on a deal. There’s an expectation sides will talk today and possibility of deal remains. Both teams are left measuring the risk-reward of a Harden deal now. https://t.co/WeyG7q8Eee

Eh, don’t worry about the public backlash, James. Nobody likes us, we don’t care. That’s the slogan we stole from an English soccer team. The only thing that matters is winning a title in New Philadelphia and then we’re gonna get hammered on Broad Street.
Here’s Woj explaining it in audio/visual format:
"I'm told that James Harden wants a trade to the 76ers. He wants it to happen today prior to the trade deadline. But he has resisted formally requesting that trade with the Nets organization."

The time is now. Daryl Morey must #DoTheDeal.
