The Sixers lost to the Heat on Wednesday night by a 108-101 scoreline. As the Jimmy Butler trade was breaking, Miami players were given the details by a fan sitting behind the bench:

This league! I’ll tell you what – this has been one hell of a trade deadline. We’ve covered none of it because A) the Sixers are having a joke of a season, and B) the Eagles are playing the Super Bowl in three days, but so far Luka Doncic is a Laker, Jimmy Butler is a Warrior, Anthony Davis is a Maverick, Dalton Knecht is a Hornet, De’Aaron Fox is a Spur, Brandon Ingram is a Raptor, Khris Middleton is a Wizard, and Zach LaVine is a King. Holy moly. Quentin Grimes is also a Sixer and Caleb Martin is gone, so we’ll digest all of that after the Super Bowl, if anybody cares. This has been the craziest midseason NBA trade window ever, and it’s not even over yet. There will be more to come. Buckle up.
