Yeah look, we wanted just one healthy Joel Embiid playoff run in our lifetimes and it’s never gonna happen. So they gotta hope Tyrese Maxey and the boys go nuclear in MSG and steal Game 2 the same way they stole Game 2 in Boston.
As for Cates, not much on his injury. The scribes say he was carted to the locker room after Game 2 in Raleigh, to keep pressure off his legs. There wasn’t any clear indication of when the injury occurred, or what it even was. Could have been the shot he blocked in the first period on Monday night.
Anyway… yay!
