Joel Embiid Screws up on Twitter, Gets Mad

Last night, the potential 76er Joel Embiid tweeted (in a now-deleted tweet) “I’m a laker.” He then tweeted that a friend had taken his phone — former friend we hope — and sent the tweet. The emoji-filled top tweet is in response to tweets such as this one:
As far as we could tell, that’s as bad as it got. We’re sure there was some worse stuff, but that tweet above isn’t even Crossing Broad Comments Section level. If that what get’s Embiid mad, and he’s drafted by the Sixers, no one can tell him about WIP. No one.
When he's not writing about sports here or ranting about them on Twitter, Jim is probably watching X-Files on Netflix or drinking a beer somewhere. Jim has nothing against hockey, it's just not his style. He once met Duce Staley at a Sixers game.
