Kendrick Perkins is Not Voting Joel Embiid for MVP

Straight from the horse’s mouth:

Perk announced his Giannis vote before the Celtics game, which I’m sure he regrets. Regardless his logic makes zero sense. Why did he vote for Joel Embiid last year when he had the eighth-best record in the NBA? Why didn’t he vote for Devin Booker or Ja Morant for MVP? Plus three weeks ago it wasn’t all about record, because it wasn’t all about record even six days ago.  The same day the Bucks locked up the #1 seed:

Perk stinks. NBA talk on ESPN stinks outside of Richard Jefferson and JJ Reddick. It’s all just hot take bullshit and hypocritical statements because producers behind the scenes make everyone take an opposing side. Doesn’t matter if you believe it. It only matters that we can sell discourse and package it on YouTube to generate clips so Captain Morgan will still want to sponsor the show. It makes the casual basketball fan dumber instead of uplifting them. It doesn’t help when people get hundreds of thousands of impressions tweeting shit like this:

When you could just Google “Embiid chase down blocks” and there is a whole catalogue on YouTube:

It’s sad that people rather spread misinformation instead of facts. Who would do such a thing:
