This is a dirty play by LeBron James Monday night in the Raptors/Lakers game:

LeBron tries to put a hole in Scottie Barnes. It was a borderline dirty play when he threw the ball at Barnes’ abdomen, but it definitely became dirty after he stared directly into Scottie’s eyes after he did it like, “Try me motherfucker.” LeBron might need anger management. Before that play he undressed his teammates for not getting a rebound… that he couldn’t get either:

This was after LeBron put on a clinic of not giving a shit during the beginning of the Suns game on Sunday:

Then took the most pompous video as he signed his 10k ball after the Lakers lost by 30:

I’m not even a LeBron hater. I respect day in and day out that we are lucky enough to watch our generation’s version of Michael Jordan. I’ll be sad when LeBron retires because it’ll be the end of an era and I’ll also feel old as fuck, but come on. Even the staunchest of supporters knows that shit LeBron pulled with Scottie was out of line. He’s trying to break some kids’ ribs, down 19. Anyone else they would’ve gone to the monitor and reviewed this and it would probably have been a flagrant. Not saying it was, but that is the definition of unnecessary contact committed by a player against an opponent. Than again, being a game ahead of the Pelicans for the 10th seed and having to deal with Russell Westbrick shooting 27% from 3 would gnaw at me, too.
