Great gig here for the Philadelphia native and Drexel standout.

Via NBA press release:

Rose is an Overbrook alumnus who went on to play for the Dragons from 1992-1996. He was a second round pick of the Charlotte Hornets but wound up playing the bulk of his NBA career with the Spurs, where we won a pair of titles.

Malik didn’t play for his hometown Sixers, but served as a color commentator for NBC Sports Philadelphia alongside Marc Zumoff from 2011 to 2015. That preceded a move to Atlanta, where he joined the Hawks’ front office and worked his way up the NBA ranks to most recently serve as Assistant General Manager of the Detroit Pistons.
