Rough night for Philadelphia native Marcus Morris.

His Knicks fell to 13-36 after getting clobbered by Memphis at home, losing by 21 points as disgruntled fans called for James Dolan to sell the team.

In the dying moments of the game, the Grizzlies’ Jae Crowder took a corner three pointer while his team was winning big, which resulted in Elfrid Payton shoving him to the ground, then a small melee broke out. A brouhaha, if you will. After the game, Morris then came out and basically called Crowder a woman with these comments:

As you can imagine, those comments didn’t sit well.

He apologized later:

Long season in New York.
