The Phillies weren’t the only ones actually swinging bats this weekend, as Michael Cater-Williams took part in the Jeffrey Osborne Celebrity All-Star Softball Classic at the home park of the Pawtucket Red Sox yesterday. Other participants in the game included Smokey Robinson, Cedric the Entertainer, Sinbad, a bunch of legendary Lakers, some former Patriots, New Edition’s Johnny Gill, Doris Burke, one of the Farrelly Brothers, Michelle Kwan, and more, in an effort to assemble the most random group of people on Earth. During the game, in a tall point guard vs. tall point guard matchup, MCW went yard against Magic Johnson.

It’s just celebrity softball, the gentlest of all sporting events, but that’s a bomb.
